Power comes from your choice of a 6.1-liter HEMIŪ V8, 5.7-liter HEMI V8, and a 3.5-liter high-output V6 engine.
The advanced Multiple Displacement System (MDS) uses electronics to switch from eight cylinders to four during cruising and light acceleration, delivering up to 350 horsepower with the fuel economy of a large V6. The transition is seamless and imperceptible, requiring a mere 40 milliseconds (0.04 seconds) to activate or deactivate the telescoping lifters, fuel injectors, and sparkplugs.

Charger's rigid unibody steel construction provides solid passenger protection. Three distinct front crush zones absorb and direct impact energy away from the passenger compartment. Inside, an energy-absorbing steering wheel and column help minimize injuries from frontal impacts. Out back, the spare tire is positioned to rotate away from the fuel tank in the event of a rear-end collision.
Charger combines classic rear-wheel-drive with new, world-class technologies to provide the confidence of maximum driver control.
